What is a reborn doll?
A reborn is a hand-finished, lifelike baby doll. Artists build up many fine layers of paint for realistic skin tones, veining and blush, and add details such as rooted hair and weighted bodies. They are made for collectors and for comfort, not as children’s toys.
Is the baby in the photos the one I will receive?
Yes. Every baby in the Collection is one of a kind, so the baby you see is the baby you get. Once a baby is adopted it is gone for good.
What is the difference between silicone and vinyl?
Full silicone babies are soft, squishy and flexible all over, and feel the most like a real newborn. Cloth-body vinyl babies have vinyl head and limbs with a soft, cuddly cloth body, which makes them lighter and easier to dress and pose.
Does my baby come with an adoption certificate?
Yes. Every baby arrives wrapped in tissue with a named adoption certificate and keepsake card.
How do I care for my reborn?
Keep your baby out of direct sunlight and away from radiators and other heat sources, as heat and UV can fade paint and damage silicone and vinyl. Do not bathe or submerge your baby. Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
How do I care for a silicone baby?
Silicone can attract dust and lint. Dust lightly with a soft make-up brush, wipe with a little mild soap and water if needed, then pat dry and dust with a small amount of cornflour or baby powder to keep the skin silky. Avoid dark-dyed clothes, which can stain silicone.
Can I brush my baby’s hair?
Rooted hair is delicate. Use a soft baby brush or your fingers very gently, and a little water to reshape. Never use heat or hair products.
Are reborn dolls suitable for children?
Our babies are collector items, not toys, and are not suitable for children under 3. Older children should play with them under adult supervision.
How much is delivery?
Orders are dispatched within 7 days, then delivered in the time of the postage option you choose at checkout (e.g. Royal Mail Tracked 48, usually 2–3 working days). UK mainland tracked delivery is £6.95, and free on orders over £75. See Delivery & Returns.
Can I return my baby?
Yes – you have 30 days from delivery to return your baby for a refund, on top of your legal 14-day right to cancel. Full details are on our Delivery & Returns page.
